Crisis Services Coordinator/State Hospital Liaison

Position Overview: The Crisis Services Coordinator/State Hospital Liaison is responsible for providing coordination of crisis care services to seriously mentally ill persons and their families residing in the catchment area of the Rockbridge Area Community Services Board. Services to be provided include needs assessment, linking to services, monitoring services, client and family education, advocacy, and outreach. Incumbent will provide case coordination to all populations served within the Emergency Services Department until such time as these clients can be transitioned to more appropriate, ongoing levels of care.
 
Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in human services field plus 1-year mental health services experience. QMHP certification preferred. Must possess a valid VA driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record according to RACS policies.
