Collaboration and Programs Intern

Feed More collects, prepares and distributes food to neighbors in need. With a service area that stretches across 34 cities and counties, our comprehensive programs and Agency Network are dedicated to providing our communities with access to quality food and healthy meals year round.

We’re looking for:
We’re in search of an enthusiastic, mission-driven and hard-working individual to join our Collaboration and Programs team this Summer! This individual should demonstrate critical thinking, business acumen and team mentality.

What you’ll do:
  • Support implementation of Agency Relations Network Design Process. The key factors in the Feed More Network Design Process are:
  • objective metrics for capacity and holistic services
  • a systemic look at regional services, operational limitations and opportunities
  • Support Agency Relations during a Request for Partnership Period. This could include a range of activities that may include:
  • Distributing, collecting, collating, and categorizing data from Agency Applications.
  • Preparing materials for and participating in an Agency Review Committee.
  • Working with digital modeling system to overlay existing agency metrics to create data visualization snapshots of Network Design.
  • Working with Agency Relations team to digitize pertinent physical files.
  • Building/updating agency databases with data collected during requests for partnership.
  • Assist Agency Relations managers with creating relevant, current, and standardized online Feed More forms and documents.
  • Accompany Agency Relations Managers to Feed More agencies for compliance, partnership and relationship-building site visits.
  • Create an executive-level PowerPoint presentation summarizing findings and highlights of Network Design Process.

Must have:
  • The right candidate for this job will be excited to learn about the food banking industry and seek to further expand their collaboration and programs knowledge.
  • Junior or Senior enrolled in an undergraduate Business Management or Non-Profit Management or related degree program
  • GPA of 3.0+ preferred
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • A confident self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and working within a team environment.
  • Capable of learning quickly, adapt to change and work in an objective driven environment
  • Innovative problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills both Qualitative and Quantitative
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with all business partners.
  • Proven communication, organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evaluate pros and cons of alternative solutions and effectively translate to broad audiences.
  • Strong time and project management skills that enable on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of business systems, spreadsheets, database technology, and business planning preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage externally

  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
