Summer 2023- Recruitment Marketing Intern - 90352255

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Do you have interest in gaining real-world experience in employment branding and recruitment marketing? The Recruitment Marketing Intern will work on exciting and unique projects aligned to recruitment marketing to supportAmtrak’s Recruiting programs.

ESSESNTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Work closely with various members of Amtrak’s Recruiting team on recruitment and hiring practices,business forecasting and employment branding strategy.
  • Assist in creating content on social media platforms that highlights employment brand proposition and alignswith our corporate brand and marketing strategy.
  • Measure the eff ectiveness of social media content and provide suggestions for future ideas to aid the overallemployment branding campaigns.
  • Create digital guides, infographics, electronic advertisements and assets that supporting the variousrecruitment branding initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall development of our employment brand.
  • Partner with recruiters and Amtrak managers to create job advertisement and engagement to promoteAmtrak opportunities.
  • Participate in recruitment strategy meetings.
  • The Recruitment Marketing Intern will utilize tools such as, but not limited to Adope Photoshop, Illustrator,and InDesign, video editing platforms, and more.
  • This role will be active in supporting content and maintenance of social media platforms such as, but notlimited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and more

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
  • Must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Communication, PublicRelations, Marketing, Human Resources, or relatedfi eld.
  • Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status atminimum.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours between Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge and familiarity with employment branding and marketing strategy through former jobs orinternships.
  • Strong passion for social media content creation and prior experience through former jobs and internships.
  • Profi ciency with social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Demonstrated profi ciency with MS Offi ce (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and effi ciency.
  • Must be pro-active and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
 
The hourly range is $17.50 per hour - $35.00 per hour. Pay is based on factors including school year, program of study, etc. In addition paid internships include Amtrak rail pass privileges as a part of the experience along with one (1) PTO day per academic year.
