Energy Engineering - Supercharger Construction Engineering Internship (Fall 2023)

What to Expect
Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around August or September 2023 and continue through the entire Fall term (i.e. through December) or into Winter/Spring 2024 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, in-person. Please consider before submitting an application. 
 
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. Again, please do not apply until you know you can work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the team  
Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy & resilient charging network can be. The Supercharger team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.  

What You’ll Do
Support battery deployments at Supercharger sites by ordering/managing delivery of batteries & associated equipment, coordinating incentive forms, managing proposals & purchase orders, supporting lease agreement amendments and scheduling installations. 

What You’ll Bring
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills, both writing and speaking - ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals 
  • Highly structured individual with affinity for organization, process, and creative thinking
  • Highly energetic personality with an ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF reader and Word  
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment; enjoys challenges 
  • Ability to deliver results through influence without authority 
  • Highly organized, with good time management skills 
  • Programming Languages: Bluebeam, Adobe, Procure for construction drawings  

 Preferred Skills 
  • Experience with construction drawings, proposals, payments, organizing documentation
  • Managing multiple vendors, projects, installations

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
