What is the Position:
The Future Leadership Program is a full-time position designed for recent graduates and junior level professionals who are passionate in education and has the aggressiveness to grow into a future leader in education industry.
Employees in this position will firstly has resources and expectation to become a great math educator, providing world top teaching/teaching services to PreK-9th graders of all levels. Other than teaching, this position will provide profound opportunities in all business functions, such as curriculum development, business operations, teaching management, marketing, etc. to foster all-round leaders in education industry, such as department level managers, center director, or even joining Think Academy global expansion in emerging markets and countries.
Applicants join us from different backgrounds with no prior teaching-related experience required. With the right mindset, this position will strengthen your teaching capacity and leadership competencies, and eventually lead you to an ideal educational career. H1B will be provided to qualified candidates. OPT is also acceptable for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
Mathematics Teaching - Engaged in the full cycle teaching/teaching services for PreK-9th grade students
- Teach Mathematics for PreK-9 graders in an in-person or online class
- Develop, execute and reiterate classes that reflect Think's curriculum and teaching methods to maximize the students' learning outcome
- Conduct open and respectful communication with students, parents and colleagues to create and maintain interactive Think communities
- Attend the internal teacher training program at Think to prepare and advance yourself as a professional educator
- Work with world-class curriculum design and teacher management teams to advance teaching-related services
Business Engagement - Prepare yourself as future leaders
- Design and execute go-to-marketing strategy for various education products and services
- Conduct market research and carry out systematic product development strategies based on user needs
- Establish online and offline communities to expand Think Academy brand awareness and nurture potential target groups
- Assist with product development, pricing, and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, all majors are welcome as long as you're passionate in kids and math teaching; Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred
- 1-2 years of teaching experiences, or experience in education sectors are preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
- A quick learner who can adapt to a new environment with a growth mindset
- Self-starter with the ability to envision solutions and take initiative to execute towards the goal
- Willing to join the entrepreneurial team and explore how to build an organization from the ground-up
- Achievements in Mathematics and related competition is a big plus, but not required
- Must be able to provide work authorization by the designed start date
Pay Range:
- Entry Level Pay Range (Total Annual Salary)：$75k - $85k
- Guaranteed Annual Salary: $65k
- Expected first year teaching salary (depends on actual lessons you delivered): $5k-$10k
- Annual Performance Based Bonus: $0-10k
