Warner Bros. Animation Archives Intern: LA - Summer 2023

The Job
Warner Bros. Animation Inc. seeks an animation intern for the WBA TV Archives Department. Throw yourself into the rich history of Warner Bros. Animation through practical work experience and exposure to the varied facets of the Animation Archives Department.

The Daily
The Animation Archives Intern will assist the Archives Administrator with the following:

  • Careful and respectful handling of animation artwork for storage.
  • Organizing physical and digital animation art and other assets.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed Excel spreadsheets to organize materials and assets.
  • Communicating effectively with the Archive Administrator regarding assignment progress.
  • Performing other job related duties as assigned.

The Essentials
  • Some previous work experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with animation industry helpful.
  • Knowledge of MAC, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook required.
  • Organization skills in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage.
  • Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
  • Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information.
  • Must be able to lift 20-30 pound boxes.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Burbank, CA.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
  • Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
  • Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States. U.S. International students must hold an F1 Visa to be considered.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns
