Program Director

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Director is an exempt position responsible for the overall functions of the Safe at Home Program.  To provide supervision, guidance, and support to the Counselors, Case Managers, Clinical Supervisor, CM Supervisor and Family Advocates. Serve as a liaison with the community, System of Care, legal, educational and mental health and the family. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program and will work with Sr. Leadership within the agency.
  • Provides supervision, guidance and support to all staff members to ensure quality services and crisis management, as well as concise and timely completion of all documentation according to contract requirements
  • Conducts staffings and supervision of cases, per contract requirements, to provide input and recommendations regarding the families being served
  • Maintain referral process and assign cases to ensure timely response to children and their families referred for assistance.
  • Complete monthly funder reports, Concur and ADP.
  • Assists with community outreach, identifying resources and training for staff to meet client needs.
  • Ensure the maintenance of appropriate case records by supervised staff on all assigned clients and their families including, concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation.  
  • Maintain case tracking system and keep data for program outcomes.
  • Complete Verification of Services with families as required
  • Oversight of program contract, budget and outcome reports.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Social Services field and 4 years of experience in human services or child welfare programs
  • Master's degree in Human Services or Social Services field and 2 years of experience in human services or child welfare programs.
  • Must have a Child Welfare Case Manager / Child Welfare Supervisor Certification
  • Effective supervisory and leadership skills, public speaking skills.
  • Oral, written, and public speaking communication skills
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Safety assessment / Abuse reporting
  • Coaching / Progressive Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and current automobile insurance coverage.
