Global Relocation Intern - Remote

Overview


CapRelo’s Early Career Program is designed with you in mind! CapRelo, a technology-driven company focused on delivering best in class relocation and assignment services on a global platform, is seeking a Global Relocation intern for Summer 2023. As a Global Relocation Consultant Intern, you will work remotely with our Global Relocation and HR teams to help review global mobility process, review in-country employment guidelines and benefits, and assist in creating business processes and improvements. This position interacts with several service areas within the organization, including Compensation Services, Operations, International, Claims, Sales, etc. to ensure that all relocation activities are performed in accordance with contractual and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities


  • Global Employment
  • Review country specific employment requirements and makes recommendations for best practice
  • Partner with VP Global Operations for creating employee implementation guide
  • Assist in creating onboarding and training package
  • Coordinate enrollment process for client International Healthcare programs
  • Participation in global project initiatives
  • Process Improvements
  • Partners with department leads on reviewing current processes and makes recommendations for enhancements and automation
  • Participates with company projects and goals of automation and efficiencies – including testing new technologies and assisting with documenting training materials
  • Consulting Assistance
  • Places referrals for visa and immigration, home search and settling in, cultural training, language training, temp living, etc.
  • Complete draft assignment documentation as needed
  • Communicate vendor and service information to assignees when appropriate
  • Follows up on placed orders to include information on appointment dates, due dates on various reports, pack/load/delivery dates, MM Surveys for approvals, and invoices for services
  • Updates database system, fills in appropriate screens and fields to assure system information is current and accurate
  • Maintains files with accurate information, including uploading documents and posting communications
  • Process terminations, including notifying appropriate departments when impacted
  • Reviews email, share relevant results when needed with GAM
  • Works closely with relocation counselor(s) to understand client(s) program to facilitate smooth service deliver to transferee and clients
  • Reviews files for accuracy and completion ready
  • Makes survey follow up calls
  • Process Improvements
  • Partners with department leads on reviewing current processes and makes recommendations for enhancements and automation
  • Participates with company projects and goals of automation and efficiencies – including testing new technologies and assisting with documenting training materials
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Must be currently enrolled and seeking a degree in International Business or a related field
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer, database, and Microsoft Office experience.
