Assist General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel with legal research, writing, and analysis of legal issues on wide variety of topics, which may include state and federal wildlife management and conservation, endangered species, construction, real estate, employment, open records, administrative law, and contracts. Attend meetings, trainings, and field trips to learn about conservation, leadership, and public service.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have finished first year of law school
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Interest in public service and/or conservation-related fields
 
SPECIAL ABLILTY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to:
Develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.
Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance.
Obtain a current, valid driver license by the date of employment.
Keep an accurate record of supplies, services and time reports.
