International Shared Service Intern

THE ROLE
Oshkosh Corporation currently works across five continents to build, serve and empower customers and communities around the world. As International Shared Services Intern, you will be a part of our International Shared Services Team and support the administration of company-wide international credit operations. This includes special orders, large projects, structured trade, and unique credit opportunities. Through these contributions, you will play a critical role as our company pursues international growth. This position is year-round and located in-person at our Global Headquarters in Oshkosh, WI.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Assist in preparing all documentation and pricing required for international bids and proposals.                                    
  • Assist in executing order management activity as required.
  • Assist in preparing for international customer visits to core manufacturing facilities.
  • Provide information and respond to correspondence from employees, customers, representatives, and sales managers to support international sales efforts.
  • Compile reports by retrieving and analyzing existing data from international sales files.
  • Plan and schedule work activities to complete assignments in their order of priority.
  • Assist with other special reports, projects, and duties as directed by the International Shared Service staff.
WHAT YOU NEED

  • Student working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Studies, or related field
  • Willing to commute to our Global Headquarters located in Oshkosh, WI (Though primarily in-person, position offers some level of remote-flexibility.)
  • Able to work part-time during the semester and full-time during the summer.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, team, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects
  • Interest in International business (Global Business minor or International Management emphasis, study abroad or travel experience).
  • Foreign language preferably in Spanish, Chinese or Arabic, etc.
