We are seeking a System Engineering Intern in our Broomfield, CO location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be integral in verification & validation test planning, execution, and impact analysis of the Quantinuum hardware systems, which includes ultrahigh vacuum, cryogenics, lasers, electro-optics, opto-mechanics, and digital and analog electronics
  • You will help define test procedures for quantum computer subsystems. Produce test results and analyze impact on system performance.
  • You will collaborate with the Quantinuum engineering and science teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers
  • You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of hardworking engineers whose expertise ensures the success of the Quantinuum System Model H1 Quantum Computer
 
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree
  • Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Quantinuum. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status) 
 
WE VALUE:
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree
  • Experience in system engineering, physics, lasers & optics, electrical engineering, or closely allied fields
  • Experience with requirements management via Cameo and model based system engineering
  • Verification and validation processes
  • Test, measurement, and experimental measurement techniques
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++ or related languages
  • Experience in teamwork and collaboration
  • Individuals who are results-oriented and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done despite competing priorities
  • Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written
 
Compensation & Benefits:
Non-Incentive Eligible
Estimated Salary Wage: $19/hr. - $26/hr.
