Broward Health is Broward County’s largest healthcare services provider and is one of the nation’s top public health systems. We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team.
Broward Health is currently seeking applicants for paid non-clinical summer internship opportunities with our health system. The internship is open to students currently enrolled in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies, or a graduate student at an accredited university or college and is not limited to any specific area of study. The summer internship is offered on a competitive basis, and the ideal qualified candidate should demonstrate a combination of strong academics, community and school involvement, and interpersonal and leadership skills. Candidate must commit to work a full time (40 hours a week) schedule for the entirety of the 10-week program. The Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience by having them interact with multiple departments in order to develop stronger leadership, organization, communication, and time management skills. 
College (Admin Intern II)

All applications for the summer internship program must be submitted via the BrowardHealth.org/career website. Applicants MUST also submit the following supplemental documents for completion of the application process:
2 letters of recommendations (MUST BE FROM A professional/teacher/advisor or guidance counselor) must be a wet signature or sent directly to the intern@browardhealth.org email from the recommender.
Updated Resume & cover letter (demonstrating leadership skills/social responsibilities/prior work experience) if applicable.

Applications and supplemental documents must be received by the organization no later than February 17, 2023, to be eligible for consideration. All supplemental documents should be e-mailed to intern@browardhealth.org
Panel interviews will be conducted during the weeks of March 6 – April 7, 2023. All travel arrangements/expenses associated with the interview process are the responsibility of the candidate. Selected candidates will be notified in advance and must be able to provide an official transcript upon request.
