The Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District No. 47 is seeking an experienced and innovative individual to provide excellent leadership to staff, students and the community as the Principal at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School beginning July 1, 2023. Located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, minutes from downtown St. Cloud and approximately an hour northwest of the Twin Cities, Sauk Rapids-Rice High School is a focal point for the Sauk Rapids and Rice communities and provides quality programs to approximately 1,400 students by approximately 160 staff members.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set rigorous, clear instructional goals that professionally supports students and staff
- Create a positive school climate to establish a thriving learning culture
- Operate and manage an educational system focused on effective instruction and student achievement
- Enhance instructional capacity, shared understanding and unity among stakeholders
- Provide leadership in developing racial, cultural, socio-economic and educational competencies that transcend differences
- Serve as the high school liaison between city, county, and community partners

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required; PhD or equivalent preferred
- Experience as a secondary teacher with high school administrative experience preferred
- Minnesota Teaching License with a Professional Administrative K-12 Principal endorsement
Contract:
240-day contract beginning July 1, 2023. Salary and benefits negotiated based on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Principal Association Agreement.
