Compliance Intern

This role will allow you to work full remote/hybrid anywhere in the US in this summer 2023 intern role.

Position Purpose:
The Intern will help support the Compliance Department with Western Sky Community Care. You will work directly with the Sr. Manager of Compliance as well as other Compliance staff and external Corp staff and vendors. You will also have the opportunity to receive hands on experience in the field of Compliance through the understanding of the 7 Elements of Compliance, hands on auditing, an understanding of the use of internal systems and operation (SharePoint and Archer), and direct communication to internal/external stakeholders.

Duties:
  • Update SharePoint for Ambetter Compliance
  • Assisting in local annual audits
  • Create a comprehensive tracking system encompassing all reporting
  • Deliverables, manage and organize folders 

Experience/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in Social SciencePre Law or a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
