You are looking for an internship role that will give you real-world, hands-on work experience. A role that will give you a glimpse at what it takes to build and scale an emerging brand at retail in a high pace and competitive marketplace. The Task At Hand:
The Natural Channel intern will learn firsthand what it is like to be an Account Manager for an emerging CPG brand. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales, Natural Channels, and is structured to give a foundational experience in Sales with exposure to Business Development, Analytics, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and more. You will be assigned specific projects that are designed to develop your business acumen and transform you into a future Sales leader.
 
In This Role, You Will:
•        Work within a dynamic Sales team to develop and drive go-to-market strategies at Key Natural Retails, such as Fresh Thyme, Earth Fare, News Seasons, etc.
•        Work cross-functionally with internal partners including Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain
•        Learn how to effectively activate against Marketing 4Ps (Product, Placement, Pricing & Promotion)
•        Leverage available resources to bring solution-based insights to both internal and external stakeholders
•        Gain foundational Retailer and Category analytical skills by working with a variety of data sources, including Microsoft Power PBI, SPINs, and Numerator
 
Must Haves:
•        Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school program, open to all majors; Business, Communications, or Liberal Arts preferred
•        Demonstrated leadership and teamwork experience
•        Strategic thinker and problems solver with strong communication skills
•        Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
•        Genuinely passionate about improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet

•        Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each quarter
•        Genuinely passionate about improving childhood nutrition for a healthier and happier planet
•        Desire to contribute to a dynamic high-growth, purpose-driven work environment
 
Compensation:
•        $22.00 per hour
•        Summer 10-12 weeks, up to but no more than 30 hours per week
•        Internship will run from mid-May to the end of August, with the opportunity to extend into Fall based on candidate performance and business need (subject to change)
