Through our Summer Internship, you’ll gain the experience, knowledge, and skills to take your career to another level. Throughout this 10-week program, you’ll enjoy hands-on involvement in some of our ground-breaking initiatives. In addition to developing technically and professionally, you’ll be able to build a network of friends and contacts while discovering what it’s like to live, work and play as a Ford Credit employee.
Summer interns are given challenging and exciting projects that focus on disruption, modernization, caring for each other, and turning around the automotive industry. Assigned responsibilities could be in one of several functional areas including: Brand and Marketing, Business Center Operations, Insurance, or the Product Organization. Your projects will grow as fast as you can handle them, giving you an opportunity to make major contributions to our products and success.
Successful interns may receive a full-time offer of employment in our Ford Credit Development Program (FCDP), which is a dynamic introduction to the automotive financing industry and exposes participants to a range of finance related positions within Business Center Operations and Ford Credit Central Office. Through a combination of rotational assignments, structured learning, formalized feedback, and mentoring, FCDP prepares participants to take on future leadership roles. Geographic mobility may be required for full time FCDP positions.
- Minimum Qualifications:Pursuing a Bachelors degree
- Junior level educational status
- 3.0 or better GPA (4.0 Scale)
- 0-3 years of related work experience
- Willingness to possibly relocate in the future
- Available for fulltime employment by September 2024
- Preferred Qualifications:Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or other related fields
