Upper School French Teacher (2023-24)

The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to teach French at the high school level. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in French and will possess a thorough knowledge of the literature, art, history, and culture of the francophone world. Candidates should possess a mature, Christian faith and an educational philosophy that is consistent with The Covenant School’s mission statement and Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences pedagogy. A strong command of spoken French is a must as we strive to meet ACTFL’s recommendation of a 90% usage of the target language in the classroom. The candidate must be passionate about working with high school students and preferably have experience at that level. Given Covenant’s mission, candidates must also have the ability to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.
