ORGANISATION AND WORKPLACE
At Neuro Spark Rehab, our vision is to create an environment and culture where you are inspired to be the best clinician you can be and provide exceptional services as part of a team that is a local leader in the field of neurological and complex rehabilitation.
Our team members love their work and together with clinical expertise, we highly value care and compassion and it shows in the quality of service we provide. We work together to build a better tomorrow for our clients and by doing so we build a better future and a better present for ourselves.
You will be able to work with colleagues and friends who are supportive, diverse, caring and knowledgeable and develop as a clinician and a person within a fantastic team.
One of our monthly team sessions is dedicated to team coaching and team goals. That is an opportunity to decide the direction we are going towards as a team and to dream big and set ourselves goals that are relevant and meaningful to each of us.
You will have flexibility in work location and hours so that work and other interests or commitments can happily co-exist. In fact, we strive to allow the two to be supporting each other and making each other more meaningful.
As part of this commitment, we are working in building further support and options for team members who are also carers (children, parents, siblings and other). We also offer regular team counselling sessions as we understand the work we do can be emotionally challenging, especially when working with people with progressive conditions.
You will be supported as a team member as we maintain a friendly, close-knit team culture and share experiences and time together outside of the clinic walls. Some of our favourite experiences include a monthly breakfast (during work hours) and the yearly MS Mega swim. We also have some more upcoming team events, our favourite being cooking classes and ones where we get the chance to spend time with your significant others and those important to you (including 4-legged family members).

COMMUNITY AND PLACE
Neuro Spark Rehab has a strong community network within a variety of organizations including sporting organizations, community organizations, health care providers, support services providers, local artists and humanitarians and educators.
As such, we are not only able to provide meaningful and exciting services, but we also experience that additional joy and satisfaction of being part and making a difference in our own community.
We celebrate our clients' achievements with them, and we have had the joy of being part of significant milestones such as a client's first ever swimming competition, first time picking up their baby independently, their first ever time shopping independently or first time returning to driving a car.
In order to allow all members of the community to receive the services they need, we provide pro-bono work, collaborate with local volunteer and non-for-profit organizations and are working towards creating further opportunities for those in the community who are not able to receive the help they need whether that's therapy input or costly equipment.
Through our friendly, supportive and inclusive culture, we also create our own community within our team so that we always feel a sense of belonging and of being connected.
At Neuro Spark Rehab, each team member has a cause they have chosen to represent or support. Examples include addressing road trauma and cancer research and we support each other in reaching our goals and supporting those causes within the community.
We also support each other in our personal goals and celebrate each other's achievements from winning a sporting competition to your child's first day at school, moving in a new home, or welcoming a new four-legged family member.
The participation in cultural training and the incorporation of local culture in what we do is paramount to be truly part of our local community. That's why we have engaged with local indigenous organizations, and we are excited to continue developing such bonds.

WHY CLIENTS CHOSE AND STAY WITH US
When we think back at a time we ourselves needed input from health care professionals, we keep going back to the same aspects we were seeking:
- The evidence based knowledge and expertise to know we were going to achieve the best possible outcome;
- The genuine and heartfelt care for us as a person, not a patient;
- The trust that the priority is our health and well being, not our wallets, knowing that we will be referred on to another professional if they have more suitable skills and expertise;
- The confidence our health professionals are team workers and are great at liaising with others involved in our care to provide continuum of care and a unified care plan.
Clients get in contact with us or are referred to us because on paper we have the training and experience to provide them with high quality therapy input. They stay with us and recommend us because, from the first session:
- We give a caring and joyful approach;
- Our skills and knowledge exceed the expectations;
- Our communication and liaison with all relevant professionals within the team is exceptional;
- We put our clients' needs first and work and refer on to other professionals when clinically recommended;
- We are generous with our time;
- We create a supportive environment encouraging peer supports, particularly for those with progressive neurological conditions.
Just like our clients, we are part of the local community and we connect with both through group lunches, outings and celebrations of special occasions.
