Deputy City Attorney - El Paso, TX | Baker Tilly

The City of El Paso is seeking a Deputy City Attorney to represent the City in criminal, civil, administrative proceedings and in transactional matters, provide professional legal advice to the City Council, boards and commissions, City Manager, and City staff, and be a member of the City’s executive management team on strategy and policy.

The selected candidate must hold a Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, consisting of eight (8) years of municipal law or public sector, and four (4) years of supervisory or managerial experience. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Texas Bar License and eligibility for licensure in Federal Court, as well as a valid Texas Class C Driver’s License or equivalent from another state. The starting salary will range from $169,040 to $206,100 DOQ/DOE.
