McGuireWoods Undergraduate Summer Intern – Law Student Recruiting Department (Charlotte, NC)
Job Description
McGuireWoods seeks a rising junior or senior undergraduate student to assist our Law Student Recruiting Department in Charlotte, NC during our firm’s Summer Associate Program and during law student on-campus interview season.
The Law Student Recruiting Intern will be responsible for handling a multitude of duties to support the firm’s attorney recruiting team.
This role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Ensuring the applicant tracking system is updated and organized
· Creating candidate material packets and interview tracking documents
· Scheduling interviews and handling any related logistics
· Processing expenses related to the Summer Associate program and law student recruiting process
· Participation in individual and group meetings and trainings, as required
· Executing any special projects, as required
Job Requirements
· Rising junior or senior on track to complete their undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. school
· Applicant must be in good standing at their undergraduate institution
· Ability to come into the McGuireWoods Charlotte office 5 days a week
· Preference will be given to those applicants with a demonstrated interest in the legal industry and/or recruiting
· Prior work experience in an office environment is preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
· Strong communication and teamwork skills, and a positive attitude
· Detail and process oriented
· Client service oriented
