Job Description Summary

As a Business Development Brokerage Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, you will support a leading team with the necessary activities to accomplish business development and secure client relationships for the firm. You will immediately be placed on Class A agency assignments where you will control a large segment of the market, helping to promote your industry stature and business development activity. Downtime will be marginal as you will be involved in transaction from day one. The existing accounts will allow you to will produce qualified leads, book, and prepare for new client meetings.

The opportunity to work with senior leaders who will provide you an educational & tools to generate business.

Learn to generate your own sales targets in accordance with firm goals

Developing new accounts by cold calling with assertive, positive message designed to meet the current challenges of your prospects’ business.

Learn to collaborate with the various platforms at C&W to provide clients with outstanding service & solutions.

Keeping current with Industry trends through C&W robust research.

Leveraging social media for prospective business.

Who You Are …

Willing to Learn. You possess a desire, wish or readiness to acquire new knowledge and develop. You do not want to stand in one place, but rather wish to be more qualified and keep up with the modern trends and tendencies.

Licensed. You either already possess a NJ real estate license or want to take your skills to the next level!

You Are a Salesperson! You have experience in sales and want to become part of a seasoned team and collaborate with the best talent.

Qualifications & Experience You Bring ...

1+ years sales experience

Business development, cold calling, customer service or applicable skill set highly desired.

Knowledge of the commercial real estate sales business model or high interest in the industry

Self-starter, detail oriented, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and sales skills essential

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must procure and maintain a NJ real estate license

Compensation varies and will be discussed during the interview process. May start with a salary draw and broker funded package. Role will eventually be 100% commission.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
