2023 Risk Graduate Program in Raleigh


Your program’s highlights
You bring the ambition and talent; we’ll open exciting new doors for you. Take the next step in your banking career with the Credit Suisse Graduate Program. In this challenging, rewarding two-year program where you will be working in the Risk division and developing your skills to be able to influence tomorrow. Beginning with a company orientation, you’ll spend one week in training and nine weeks as an integral part of the Risk team. This position is part of our CRO division, an industry leader in Risk driving the firm’s global success.
Over the course of this program you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our senior speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the Risk division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you’ve seen the big picture, it’s time to paint your own.
 
Start date: July 2023
Duration: 2 years
Academic requirements: You should be graduating from a university in December 2022 or May/June 2023.

Your field of responsibility

Part of the focus within the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Function is to drive strategic and sustainable returns on risk that reflect the Risk Appetite of the bank.
  • Monitor and Challenge known risks while also illuminating unknown risks.
  • Allow pre-emptive and dynamic management of risks by better connecting the dots and being forward-looking and externally aware.
  • Drive and apply advanced capabilities to make risks transparent and serve as a complementary and insightful partner to the business.
  • Support the firm strategy by ensuring that risk-based returns are appropriate.
  • Be known for a dynamic, engaged and collaborative culture.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement and efficiency improvement of risk-related systems and infrastructure.

You will learn how to hone your skills and apply them in a dynamic, risk-oriented environment as part of a project team or by contributing to one of our many risk and compliance functions.
