IT Audit Summer Intern

What you’ll do: In this position you will learn and leverage IT risk knowledge to provide insightful recommendations to business stakeholders improving the design and effectiveness of the IT and business control environment.  As part of the Internal Audit team, the IT Audit Intern will contribute to the timely completion of the Global audit plan and execute IT General Control (ITGC) validations supporting the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Program. 
 
What we’re looking for: 
  • Ability to work 35 hours a week 
  • Active enrollment at college/university 
 
Skills needed for the position: 
 
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Accounting) 
  • Experience with technologies and strong knowledge of software development, infrastructure, and security fundamentals 
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills with the ability to clearly and concisely 
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in order to deliver timely completion of assignments 
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail 
  • An enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment 
  • Contribute positively to the organization, both individually and as part of a team 
  • Proficient MS Excel and intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills 
 
Skills would like to have but not required: 
 
  • Experience with leveraging the use of data analysis tools is a plus (e.g. ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Alteryx.) 
  • Experience of emerging technologies (e.g., RPA, AI, Machine Learning, Cloud) are a plus 
  • Understand or familiar with IT audit processes
