Arts and Crafts Instructor
The Town of Herndon boasts a unique balance of strong sense of community and being a next generation small town and each employee is pivotal in providing exceptional services to our citizens. The Town has an immediate need for an Instructor for our Arts and Crafts Classes in the Parks and Recreation department.
In this position, you will provide the following service to our community:
Instruct various Arts and Crafts classes geared towards the general public to include; children, teens and/or adults.
Instruction to be provided for the following classes:
Drawing, Collage, Painting, Paper, Embroidery, Cartooning, or other media.
What you will need:
- Ability to create your own class and curriculum
- Ability to communicate clearly and concise with the general public
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- CPR & First Aid certified preferred

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
