Software Engineering Intern for Video Surveillance Software

Note: This is an on-premise internship in Norfolk, Virginia. Applicants who do not reside in the Hampton Road's area may be considered for a remote internship on a case-by-case basis.

IPConfigure is currently accepting software programming internship applications.
This is a paid internship; you must be authorized to work in the United States in order to qualify.
IPConfigure is a software company based in Norfolk, Virginia that makes web-based, cross-platform video surveillance software using C++, Java, and JavaScript.
We have openings for a student intern who can participate in basic software development, software testing, and server configuration processes. Interns are mentored by a full-time IPConfigure software engineer and will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the IPConfigure software development process.
Successful applicants will typically be third or fourth year undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates, and will be asked to complete a technical assessment in order to show competence in C++, Java, or JavaScript.
Requirements
- Applicants should be actively pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) at an accredited Virginia university.
- The period of work is flexible and will be at IPConfigure headquarters on Bowdens Ferry Road in Norfolk, VA.
