Graduate Assistant – Case Manager

Essential Functions
Working with the Director for Student Conduct and Case Management and the Case Manager, the Graduate Assistant – Case Manager will provide support for the essential functions of student conduct adjudication and case management. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Meeting with students who are struggling with academic, personal, or professional concerns
  • Meeting with students to adjudicate alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct
  • Documenting student outreach, meetings, and follow-up
  • Reviewing Student Conduct and Case Management materials, including the Student Code of Conduct, the website, marketing publications, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Duties
  • Required QualificationsMust be enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program at UNO and must maintain full-time enrollment during the duration of the appointment
  • Enrollment in a graduate degree program in Counseling, Student Affairs, Public Affairs, Social Work, or other related fields
  • The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and an ability to prioritize effectively
  • The successful candidate will also demonstrate an ability and aptitude for working with college students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Student Affairs work, case management, etc.

7,246.50
