Morris Insurance & Financial is looking to expand our team by hiring a qualified
Customer Service Representative.
Job Description:
Morris Insurance & Financial is seeking a new team member that will provide support to our Personal and Commercial Lines Representatives through various aspects of the daily responsibilities including, but not limited to:
● Cheerfully meet and greet clients and visitors
● Processing policy changes as requested by the client or senior staff
● Accurately processing client payments
● Assisting in claims reporting
● Other tasks as instructed by senior staff or management.
Requirements
The applicant must:
● Be reliable and trustworthy
● Maintain a professional appearance
● Have the ability to work in a team environment
● Possess strong technological skills including proficiency with:
○ Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
○ Google Docs
○ Digital Signatures
Qualifications:
The applicant must:
● Have prior customer service experience, with service in the insurance industry preferred, but not required.
● Be able to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance license in the Commonwealth of Virginia within 90 days of hire.
● Pass a criminal background check.
Hours Required:
While the hours could change, we anticipate the following hours:
● Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm
● Occasional Saturday Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm
One hour lunch included Monday-Friday
