Proposal Coordinator

Position Summary                            The primary objectives of this position are to market construction services and capabilities by coordinating and developing qualifications and proposals, collecting, managing, and maintaining data, and developing and implementing marketing campaigns.
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities                                  
 
  • Coordinate proposal and bid documents and prepare proposal materials
  • Manage and maintain proposal and boilerplate databases to ensure accurate and updated data
  • Analyze and interpret Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals
  • Prepare statements of qualifications, bids, and presentations
  • Gather data for bids
  • Provide support during bid processes
  • Incorporate independent decision making for all tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist with project pursuit interviews
  • Research competitive markets indentifying characteristics, advertising methods, and other factors related to the heavy civil construction industry
  • Analyze business development and monitor market trends
  • Assist with media communication and publications including brochures, newsletters, and press releases
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc.

Education/Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience working in a marketing and/or related area
  • Some experience in the heavy civil construction or engineering industry is preferred
