Marketing Projects & Events Intern

As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months.

Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will be supporting strategic marketing projects and events with internal stakeholders and key academic research personnel, creating positive bias for Synopsys’s products amongst professors and students. You must be professional, outgoing, and friendly. You are agile, flexible, and willing to roll up the sleeves to get things done. The duties associated with this position are dynamic and may change based on priorities and staffing. Responsibilities of this position include:
  • Support for the Synopsys Academic Research Alliances (SARA) including, but not limited to brand, digital, marketing operations, campaigns and newsletters, and analytics (managing social media presence, managing content for a newsletter, interview professors/pull quotes from professors, collateral for our corporate page)
  • Event management and administrative support for conferences and other events, both in person and virtual (conferences such as DAC in July 2023)
  • Media management for uploads and simple editing
  • Provide administrative support to the SARA teams (calendar support, general paperwork)

Requirements:
  • Comfortable with Microsoft office suite - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom meetings & webinars a must.
  • Must be able to anticipate program needs, discern work priorities, and work cross functionally.
  • Sound organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator. English language, spelling, and grammar skills. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle various projects simultaneously, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and have the flexibility to perform within an environment of changing needs and priorities.
  • Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Marketing or similar focus.
