Clinical Assessor- NY Onsite

Maximus is seeking a Clinical Assessor Supervisor to supervise the Queens WeCARE Clinical Assessor Team through cultivation of a high performance team-oriented environment that is consistent with the culture and values of MAXIMUS.

This position requires to work onsite in the Jamaica, NY office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervises Queens WeCARE Clinical Assessor Team through cultivation of a high performance team-oriented environment that is consistent with the culture and values of Ascend/MAXIMUS.

- Supervise day to day clinical assessment operations and drive continuous improvement

- Coordinates all required tasks related to employee schedule changes and time-off

- Interviews and make recommendations for selection of new employees.

- Prepares 30-45 day orientation plans for new hires.

- Conducts on-the-job training for new employees.

- Coaches and counsels employees for success.

- Conducts regularly scheduled 1:1 and team meetings with direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Health, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology, or related field

- Current and appropriate license(s) in the State of New York and be a Qualified Health Professional with one of the following licenses:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC)

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT/L) or OTR/L

Registered Nurse (RN)

Another credentialed professional as approved by HRA

- 2-5 years work related experience

- 2 years of people management experience

- Required to work onsite in the Jamaica, NY office

Salary: US $80,000.00/Yr - $88,000.00/Yr
