Are you ready to take the next step in your career? As a Team Leader, you will lead a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, including therapists, a vocational specialist, a peer specialist, and a prescriber as they provide mental health services in the west suburban Chicagoland community. This includes sharing direct service duties within the team and leading by example while working directly with clients, providing guidance, and growing the clinical skills of your team.
Mindstrong is a highly specialized program, providing state-of-the-art services to youth and young adults who are experiencing a First Episode of psychosis, who are at risk for symptoms of psychosis, or have other serious mental health challenges. You and your team will provide assessment, care coordination & case management, individual therapy and support (including CBT for psychosis), family psychoeducation, and multi-family groups. This team provides cutting-edge programming: our youth participate in the Young Adult Advisory Board, receive Cognitive Training, and we use evaluative tools to ensure that we’re making a positive difference in our clients’ lives. We implement research findings by our Young Adult Research program, who have published papers and presented internationally on the innovative, evidence-informed practices used by this team.
