Business Administration Internship - Bay Area (Santa Clara CA)

General Summary
This position will provide a highly motivated, engaged student the opportunity to be part of the Regional Controller’s group and will get exposure to various parts of our finance and accounting functions.

Essential Job Accountabilities
  • Responsible for assisting in day-to-day administrative and basic accounting functions
  • Accounts Payable data entry
  • Data entry and reconciliation of extra work billings
  • Basic understanding of compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Answering phones and sorting mail
  • Assist with writing procedures/process documentation
  • Read and respond to email in a timely and professional manner
  • Sorting, saving and renaming files to various folders on a shared drive
  • Process improvement opportunities
  • Special projects upon request

Education
  • Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced MS Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and vlookup
  • Strong academic record
  • Team player
  • Excellent analytical capabilities
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Good customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and desire to work with different groups of people

Physical Demands
