Are you looking to hone your skills as an equestrian while having a fun and unforgettable summer? French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts is a sleep away summer camp in the heart of the Catskill mountains, and alongside our hugely diverse creative arts program, we offer a horseback program that can provide you with a summer of intensive and rewarding horse-related activities of all kinds! In addition to taking care of 20 horses, you will instruct the campers in riding (we offer lessons in both English and Western, all levels, plus trails), horse care, barn maintenance, and stable management. This is an opportunity to really grow your hands-on experience, as you work with both the kids and the horses.
