Associate Property Manager
With more than 50 years in business, our busy property management company is growing once again! We are seeking a smart, enthusiastic, optimistic individual to help us manage our expanding residential and commercial portfolios!

- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least two year's property management and supervisory experience required
- Accounting/financial experience a plus
Duties:
- Provide high level of customer service to commercial and residential tenants; respond to tenant inquiries and work to
- Work with tenants to address concerns and resolve issues
- Perform leasing activities such as showing properties as needed, processing lease applications, and review/sign leases
- Use property management software/data entry to process maintenance requests and manage accurate tenant records
- Collaborate with maintenance team to ensure all tenant needs are addressed and follow up on completed service requests
- Maintain the billing system and tenant rental accounts by processing and recording transactions and updating all rents, deposits, application fees, and other receivables
- Issue appropriate notices when necessary (i.e., late payment, returned checks, etc.)
- Perform account reconciliations
- Generate maintenance invoices as needed, water/sewer invoices monthly, and account statements regularly
- Communicate with tenants regarding payment issues, questions, and charges, and manage escalated tenant concerns
- Correct discrepancies and ensure that accounts are properly billed and that payments are collected
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities
- Maintain accurate and complete records regarding payments and account statuses
- Obtain information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and the account receivables ledgers are up to date at all times
- Produce monthly financial and management reports
- Provide supervision and support to administrative and leasing staff
- Oversee daily operations and provide support to senior management as needed by responding to emails/inquiries, answering phones, and filing documents
- Perform move-out inspections, final inspections, and other turnover-related activities
- Participate in Marketing/Leasing activities- creating/distributing daily/weekly reporting, preparation of flyers/materials, outreach - attending tabling/marketing events, preparing move-in packets, assists with regular market surveys, social media, etc.
- Understand and adhere to Fair Housing law and company policies
- Other duties as assigned
This a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and after hours work when necessary, with OT pay.
