Athletic Coach + Sports Management
Camp Mah-Kee-Nac, an all-boys traditional, overnight camp located in the Berkshire Mountains of Lenox, Massachusetts is looking to hire college-level (D1, D2, or D3) athletes to work as counselors and coaches.
Our Athletic philosophy is one that puts a lot of emphasis on skill-building, and fun while challenging our campers to grow in their roles as individual players and as part of a team. Our camp also offers the opportunity for our campers to compete in games and tournaments throughout the summer against other camps in the area.
All contracts consist of salary, travel stipend, housing, meals, and laundry. Internship credit is also available.

All staff will provide quality instruction at their designated activity.
Qualifications:
- Must possess the background and enthusiasm necessary to be an instructor
- Experience teaching and/or working with children is a huge plus
- Individuals must be patient, dedicated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities:
With the help of the Athletic Director:
- Create creative and engaging age-specific programs
- Instruct clinics, as well as coach teams in competitions and tournaments
- The care and inventory of equipment
- Serve as an outstanding role model
