Voiceover Intern - Winter/Spring 2023 (REMOTE)

DDO Artists Agency is seeking a TECH-SAVVY intern to assist our NY Voice-Over Department as a Winter/Spring Intern. With offices in LA, NY & Chicago, DDO is constantly evolving and takes pride in the personalized relationships we form with our diverse roster of clients. Our work environment leans towards casual, but can quickly become fast-paced - great for promoting growth in our interns. You'll be working closely with our VO team, and will receive a Performance Review with constructive feedback at the end of your internship. DDO is a great place to begin or continue your journey into the entertainment industry!

POSITION DETAILS:
Week of Jan 3- mid May (approx)
Looking for Mondays- Fridays but MUST be at least TWO FULL DAYS, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST, (If necessary, we are willing to accommodate half-days in ADDITION to the two day commitment. No weekends.)
College credit available upon request (IF approved by student's college/university)
Must be able to work on EST - open to applicants outside of NY as this will be a remote position
MUST be positive & eager to learn about the entertainment business!
Start date: Week of January 3, 2023. There will be one training day before holidays - date TBD
Interns will work directly with, receive training from, and report to DDO's Vice President of Voiceover as well as the Voiceover Talent Agents and Voiceover assistants on the team. The team provides valuable weekly feedback and hosts sessions for students to ask questions and learn more about the department, voiceover, and the talent/entertainment industry as a whole.

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect, review, and edit VO audition files, and address any technical issues (Audacity)
Read, cross reference and understand casting breakdowns
Work with online accounts used by actors and casting
Email talent for redo's on auditions and respond to questions/concerns
Record and maintain confidential client information (inEntertainment)

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Google Suite, Microsoft Office, PC Proficiency
Familiarity with Audacity, editing & recording audio is PREFERRED, but not required
Extreme Attention to Detail, Multi-tasking Skills, Initiative, Phone & Email Etiquette, Superior Work Ethic & Organization
Since this will be a remote position, you must have a desktop or laptop and good WiFi and Bandwidth
Salary: College credit available upon request
