Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Springer Capital is engaged in Capital Advisory for APAC Private Equity and Asset management to make financial investments into Real Estate and other Sectors in the US markets. 

Springer is seeking an Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer intern to join the Technology side of the company. The internship can be onsite in Shanghai or conducted remotely. The start date of the internship is flexible. The internship is unpaid.

Job Highlights
As an information technology infrastructure engineer intern, you will be focusing on developing and maintaining fundamental software and productivity tools that support Springer’s workflow. You will be able to collaborate with groups across Springer throughout your work.
 
What you will do as an intern:
·        Develop workflow and automation for software used in work such as our CRM system
·        Set up Servers and VPNs to facilitate collaboration between Springer’s international teams
·        Collaborate with teams across Springer to help achieve their technological need
·        Create and maintain different accounts for the firm’s infrastructure applications

·        Overarching and detailed training materials before interns hit the desk
·        Interns will have group calls with the director and supervisors regularly for up-to-date and constructive feedback
·        Greater leadership and responsibilities will be given to interns based on work quality
 
Who we are looking for:
·        Strong experience in coding languages such as JavaScript, C++, PHP etc. (highly recommended but not required)
·        Passionate about real estate investment
·        Effective communication and presentation skills
·        Active learner mindset
·        Time management
·        Research and problem-solving abilities
·        Proficiency in business software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The internship enrollment period is flexible. The expected hours are 20 per week for ~3 months. Upon completion, you will receive an internship confirmation letter, or you can apply to your school for internship credit.
