Summer Camp Staff

Camp Boggy Creek is a not-for-profit medical camp that serves children with serious illnesses. We have year-round volunteer opportunities and summer jobs. We are located in central Florida, approximately 45 minutes north of Orlando.

A camp where children with serious illnesses and their families can forget the word "no" for a little while and embrace the promise of "yes."

Our summer jobs teach the top skills Fortune 500 companies want in employees: leadership, communication, critical thinking, customer service, and collaborative skills. Our summer jobs are fun! Our summer staff directly impact and empower children.

If you enjoy kids, trying new things, and choosing kindness, this could be the place for you! Don't worry if you don't have experience with children who have illnesses; we have medical staff and volunteers on site to take care of campers' medical needs. We will train staff in the medical information you will need to PLAY WITH KIDS here.

Job and volunteer applicants must be at least 19 years old, and positions are contingent on reference checks, receipt of passing the criminal background screening, fingerprinting, and medical / immunization requirements. We hope to have summer staff hired by mid-April, so interested applicants are encouraged to apply early.

All voices are needed at Camp Boggy Creek, and every new member of our team is an opportunity for our camp to grow. We want to hire a camp staff that is reflective of the campers we serve, so we strongly encourage diverse candidates to apply. Camp Boggy Creek is intentional about growing in our diversity, equity, and inclusion, as we want all children and adults to feel safe, respected, and loved here.
