Trip Leader
Welcome to Camp Dogwood, located in Madison County, VA. Camp Dogwood provides stimulating, hands-on lessons, allowing campers to take an active role in their education. Lessons focus on critical thinking and exploration in topics including: reading, writing, analysis, leadership, community service, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Campers participate in one field trip per 2-week session and are visited by guest speakers.
Through diverse, cross-curricular programming and a dedicated staff, we aim to make Camp Dogwood a place of growth, excitement, and fun. We forge lasting friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime!
Camp dates are June 20th through August 16th, and staff are compensated with a weekly stipend, room, and board. All staff also receive intersession breaks.
To apply, you must be at least 21 years of age or a high school graduate.
You must also submit a health history record, examination form, and negative Covid-19 test prior to the first day of work.
