SFI is responsible for providing full life cycle software development /DevOps for a federal agency.
SFI is looking for entry level software development graduates who are eager to learn and grow their careers with SFI. SFI prides itself on mentoring new entrants who are engaged, passionate about development and willing to work from the ground up and learn from some of the best!
The candidate will be a critical member of a team that provides operational support of the infrastructure and all the necessary processes and procedures to support USDA Systems and applications. The candidate will be responsible for instilling DevOps and software development tasks for critical and core code functionality of the existing web applications and program areas. Other responsibilities include participating in meetings, working groups, design sessions, and technical knowledge shares.
Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient in coding languages and technologies, e.g. Java, React, AngularJS
- Good programming concept such as OO, API, JEE, Spring framework
- Ability to learn
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum fundamentals
- A strong desire to understand complex systems and how to troubleshoot and make them highly available
- A collaborative spirit and you enjoy working with a team to build things in an Agile fashion.

- As a Federal Contractor, all Spatial Front Employees are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination prior to the first date of employment.
- Ability to pass a US Public Trust background investigation for access to the client site and computing systems. You must have lived in the US for the past three (3) years.
