Summary 
L’Oréal Corporate Communications is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized communications consultant to assist the IT communications team in developing and executing effective communications strategies and large-scale events across the IT community in the Americas zone (Canada, USA, and Latin America). This role gains broad exposure to the entire IT team both at the Global level and in the Americas. 
The ideal candidate is an innovative and entrepreneurial self-starter with strong project management, writing, design, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Must be accountable, enthusiastic, have a strong attention to detail, and a desire to contribute as part of an always-moving communications team with professionalism, and a proactive mindset. 
 
Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:  
  • Support major IT functional communication touchpoints, including but not limited to: monthly newsletter, monthly town halls and ongoing community management 
  • Executive communications support for the Americas CIO both internally and externally 
  • Manage intranet content, including writing articles and designing assets  
  • Graphic design ideation and creation, including but not limited to PowerPoint decks, digital signage, print, and video 
  • Provide writing and editorial support as needed  
  • Drive planning efforts for multiple internal campaigns and virtual events; organize project plans, deliverables and regular status meetings/calls 
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships and continuous communication with internal stakeholders throughout the zone  
  • Coordinate internal conferences/ meetings/ virtual events including pre-planning, execution and post event wrap up 
  • Partner closely with Employee Experience team to successfully rollout and promote employee facing technology 
  • Understand cultural differences that are critical to the success of Americas zone communications initiatives.

  • Strong graphic design skills- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred  
  • Ability to speak/understand/write in Spanish/French/Portuguese is favorable 
 
Education and Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design 
  • Experienced work experience required
