Admin/Engagement Specialist ROI- ROADS OF INDEPENDENCE - 5 YEAR TEMP GRANT PROGRAM



LOCATION: Kershaw County, South Carolina

 

JOB TYPE: Temporary Grant - Full-Time

 
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: This position will require flexible hours to include some evenings and weekends.

THIS IS A FIVE (5) YEAR GRANT PROGRAM

Under general supervision, performs administrative and engagement activities as part of the Roads of Independence (ROI) program serving youth and young adults. This position is based in Kershaw county and may require travel throughout the Santee-Wateree CMHC catchment area to include, Sumter, Clarendon, and Kershaw counties.
 Administrative responsibilities include but not limited to data collection/entry, typing, word processing, copying, scheduling, recording minutes, maintaining patient and/or financial records, answering phones, mailing, copying and scheduling; handle all project related correspondence, reports, notices and recommendations and/or other administrative tasks as assigned. Will also participate in engagement strategies and grant-related objectives to engage young people to build on strengths relevant to their transition goals. Work closely with project staff, community partners and the community at-large in the daily operation of the project. Must be proficient in with computers and MS Office Software.
 
 Exhibit compliance with SCDMH Corporate Compliance Plan and the Santee-Wateree CMHC Corporate Compliance Policy, exercise appropriate concern for safety of self and others in personal conduct while following appropriate legal, ethical and HIPAA standards
 Performs other duties as required/requested by supervisor(s).
 

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

State requirements: A bachelor's degree in administrative services and community engagement or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  Agency Requirements: A bachelor's degree and three (3) years of office mgt. and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  Valid driver's license and good driving record and ability to travel within the Santee-Wateree CMHC catchment area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in working with youth ages 16 to 25 in a transitional program.
