Spring 2022 Communications Internship

The National Partnership seeks a communications intern who will work within our energetic communications team to elevate the issues of health care, reproductive rights, and fairness in the workplace. Work will include assisting in tracking reporters and press clips, writing and assisting with website materials, press releases and/statements, social media posts and other materials as opportunities arise. Attending internal and external meetings including press events (virtually during the pandemic), and responding to requests for information, analyzing content for current and potential social media properties, updating and analyzing content on our website, prepping emails for our online supporters, and tracking new media trends.
The communications intern will acquire a broad background in communications strategy, hone their technology skills, and participate in special projects with program staff. Experience with social media, HTML and Photoshop are a plus but not required. This is a great opportunity for students interested in a career in communications and/or digital media.
As the safety and wellbeing of our team is of utmost importance, all National Partnership staff members are working remotely until it is safe for us to resume working in an office, traveling, and holding in-person meetings.

Students should consult with academic faculty to determine if this unpaid experience will earn credit.
