Outreach Prevention Supervisor

The successful applicant for this position shall have a Bachelor Degree in related field, a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) credential, has, or is willing to work towards obtaining Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS) credential and at least 2 years experience working with children and families. Experience and aptitude in working with children and families in crisis situations, ability to work well with many different types of people; possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to drive to homes and other community locations, automotive liability insurance, and a car which is safely maintained. This person must meet the background screening as defined in OAC code 5101:2-5-09. Demonstrates consideration, understanding and humility for the diversity of the children and families served by Pathway. Demonstrates knowledge of working with children and families as part of diverse family systems. Good written and verbal skills are required, as well as a willingness to provide supervision support during flexible hours.
The Outreach Prevention Supervisor uses a Trauma Competent approach to provide supervision to staff, oversight of services and specialized case management interventions including CPST and/or TBS. Services supervised include Independent Living, Post Adoption and Kinship Services and Prevention. Service oversight includes ensuring implementation of services following prescribed guidelines, developing and managing community collaborations and completing documentation required by funders and credentialing bodies. Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff. Supervisor will also provide specialized case management services to a small caseload of children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Work will vary, depending on the needs and requirements of services, staff and clients, with respect to hours, type and intensity.
