SLP - Clinical Fellowship
Infinite Services, Inc. is a New York-based corporation with sites in Brooklyn and Queens. We were founded in 2009 to provide high-quality Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy as well as Counseling services to children and families throughout the five boroughs.
Infinite Services are looking for a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist, SLP/ Clinical Fellow, CFY to join our growing team and will provide therapeutic treatment to patients who have oral-motor disorders, deficiencies, and delays related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, SLP/ Clinical Fellow, CFY, you will provide exceptional care to help patients gain oral-motor control and cognition in order to perform oral and communicative functions, such as sound production, vocalizing, chewing, swallowing, etc., effectively.
SETTINGS:
- School Setting - Full-time and part-time positions in Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.
- Home Care Setting - Cases are available in all 5 boroughs of New York!
Speech-Language Pathologist, SLP/ Clinical Fellow, CFY tasks will include, but are not limited to:
· Review authorized orders for therapy services, and perform and document initial evaluation to determine patients’ oral-motor deficits, and identify the therapeutic needs and goals specific to the patients to maintain, develop, and/or restore oral-motor function.
· Speech Language Pathologist, SLP/CFY performs clinical assessments to define functional and communicative impairment and developmental and/or restorative potential. Confer with patient, family, medical treatment team to determine maintenance, developmental, and restorative therapeutic goals.
· Track and document treatments, responses, and progress. Reevaluate, redefine therapeutic goals, and develop new treatment plans as necessary.
· Recommend Augmentative Communication Devices for non-verbal patients if necessary.
· Provide training for patients, caregivers, families, as well as other health team personnel on using Augmentative Communication Devices, oral-motor exercises, communication techniques, etc.
