Outlet Merchandising Intern

  • We work with your class and extracurricular schedule to determine your internship schedule
  • This internship is for credit only
  • This spring internships is 15 weeks long and a max of 20 hours a week
  • Spring internships start January 24th and end May 13th

We’re on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and about working toward a career in the retail industry.
Interns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks.
You Will: 
Merchandising: As an assistant to the merchandising team you will assist in many things including sample management, seasonal line development, fitting of garments. In this role you will also have the opportunity to learn how to run a retail apparel/non-apparel business, manage inventory, help choose the seasonal line, and create “lookbooks” for the outlet stores. You will also learn some basics in retail math, which is crucial to understand selling reports and financial reporting.
Additionally you will assist in product development by presenting ideas for on-brand styles for all departments in outlets (mens, womens, boys, and girls). You will work with design to collaborate on color palettes, choosing and developing styles, and sourcing fabrics and trims. You will have a chance to let your creative juices flow!
