FAMILY SERVICE WORKER COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
 
  • Receive referrals from child welfare for meetings
  • C heck to ensure all information is correct
  • Contact staff, families and community partners to coordinate meetings
  • Maintain the meeting
  • Documentation of client contact and interaction
  • Scribing and note taking
  • Other various duties as assigned
 
Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of human behavior, metal health, child development, substance abuse, child abuse or neglect
  • Plan and manage work activities, record documentation and data entry
  • Communicate both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Ability to speak publicly
  • Ability to manage multiple task simultaneously
  • Ability to work on Microsoft office with advances skills-specifically Excel
  • Ability to type documents
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License in the State of VA or NC & acceptable Driving record by the DMV
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
 
  • 4 year of experience above the high school level and/or exp. working in the Human services field.
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred in the human service related field
  • Prior experience working as an administrative capacity pref.
