FAMILY SERVICE WORKER COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Receive referrals from child welfare for meetings
- C heck to ensure all information is correct
- Contact staff, families and community partners to coordinate meetings
- Maintain the meeting
- Documentation of client contact and interaction
- Scribing and note taking
- Other various duties as assigned
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Knowledge of human behavior, metal health, child development, substance abuse, child abuse or neglect
- Plan and manage work activities, record documentation and data entry
- Communicate both orally and in writing
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Ability to speak publicly
- Ability to manage multiple task simultaneously
- Ability to work on Microsoft office with advances skills-specifically Excel
- Ability to type documents
- Possess a valid Driver’s License in the State of VA or NC & acceptable Driving record by the DMV
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- 4 year of experience above the high school level and/or exp. working in the Human services field.
- Bachelor’s degree Preferred in the human service related field
- Prior experience working as an administrative capacity pref.
