Digital (IT) Operations Intern

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.
As a Digital (IT) Operations intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:
- Study FSP Digital operations processes for projects, products, partnerships
- Create a map of activities/tasks for project planning and execution (from nomination -> prioritization -> evaluation -> budgeting -> execution -> closure)
- Understand and create process flows for FSP Digital procurement across (direct and indirect). The who, what, when, how?
- Classify the different BRM activities & time spent into focus areas – Infra, Audits, Compliance, Projects, Corporate Initiatives, Meetings, etc.
- Suggest areas of improvement across all of the above
Experience/Qualifications
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and proactive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
- Should have worked with process architecture, design, and capacity planning
- Designed process flows with dependencies, activities, critical paths, redundancies
- Should understand projects in both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience in working with leaders and working team members to extract & present data
- Motivated, Self-starter, quick learner, vocal

Education
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in related field of study
- GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
