2022 Spring Constituent Services Internship

Internships are available in Senator Warner’s Washington, D.C. and Virginia offices. As our office works to return to a normal pre-pandemic posture, we plan to launch a fall 2021 internship program that offers a limited number of in-person, remote or hybrid intern positions in D.C. as well as several state offices.
 
Applicants will be required to select their preferred internship category as part of the online application, and must be able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours a week for the duration of the session for a Capitol Hill internship and a minimum of 12 hours a week for a state office internship. All intern work assignments will take place during office business hours. Students who want to be considered for either an in-person position or a hybrid position will be expected to report in person to either the Washington, D.C. office or the selected state office location. In order to be considered, all interested students must complete the online application by the deadline listed below. 
 
All interns* are eligible for a stipend, as follows:
·        for a $1000 pre-tax stipend, you must be able to commit to working between 12 – 23 hours per week for the entire session
·        for a $2000 pre-tax stipend, you must be able to commit to working at least 24 hours a week for the entire session
