Violin and Cello Instructors (2 positions)
Opus119 is seeking a qualified part-time instructors to teach violin and cello in all levels.
Duties:
- Teach private lessons
- Prepare for Certificate of Merit (MTAC) when appropriate
- Prepare for competitions and festivals
- Keeping up-to-date on student music events in Orange County
- Prepare and assist in student recitals on-site (currently suspended due to pandemic)
Qualifications:
- BM, MM, or DMA in Performance
- Music degree is an absolute necessity. The application will not be reviewed if applicant does not hold a music degree
- Membership for MTAC required upon hiring
- Ability to work with young children
- Ability to communicate well with students, parents, and peers
Compensation:
- Competitive rate based on teaching qualification and experience
